Here at Stevenson Vestal there is always something going on. We have cook outs for some holidays, ice cream days throughout the year, gift give-aways, unwrap games, Easter egg hunts.
At Christmas we play the 12 Days of Christmas and 12 gifts are given away. One luck winner for each day of the 12 days of Christmas leading up to Christmas.
We all stand around waiting to see who's name is drawn and then what's inside the beautiful boxes that our Mrs. Clause wraps for us.
On the 1st day of Christmas, SV gave Denise beautiful red candles ready to for any dinner table or fire mantle and a beauitful warm comforter to snuggle up in and watch those Hallmark Christmas movies.
On the 2nd day of Christmas, SV gave Jan a Grinch, and bag full of sweet goodies and a few cute goodies to decorate with and gift cards to go buy more.
Which the Grinch will surely leave alone.
On the 3rd day of Christmas, SV gave Liz car cleaning supplies so she can be riding in style this Christmas and through the New Year. And a little gift card to go shopping to something for herself.
Oh and a very fashionable hat. Just kidding, she's just playing around with the ribbon and Santa.
On the 4th day of Christmas, SV gave Ron the fixin's for a table setting, with placemats, table runner and everything he needs. And a gift card to get a little appetizer while waiting on dinner to finish cooking.
On the 5th day of Christmas, SV gave Chae a Christmas painting to add some seasoning to her home and a basket full of yummy goodies to get her family gathering started.
On the 6th day of Christmas, SV gave Darlene some yummy hot cocoa and a Keurig to make it with.
And you can't have hot cocoa without Oreos. What a way to spend a cold night by a fire place.
On the 7th day of Christmas, SV gave Sarah candy, a relaxing puzzle, hand soap, a candle and a message wrap for those achy joints.
Oh, and a gift card to go out to eat before settling in to start the puzzle on a cold winters night.
On the 8th day of Christmas, SV gave Monika some really cute ornaments to add to her tree, and a candle to add to her home, some yummy treats to enjoy with her peppermint spoons that she can add to her hot cocoa and a gift card.
On the 9th day of Christmas, SV gave April a big box of really pretty towels to add to her Christmas decor as she entertains her guest this Christmas and New Year season.
On the 10th day of Christmas, SV gave Mary, a box of yummy chocolate, a gift card to put hubby to work with, then treat them both to breakfast and whisky-flavored fudge to end the long day of work.
On the 11th day of Christmas, SV gave Brandi the makings of some yummy soup and a lunch size crockpot to keep it warm.
Oh, and some cute little elf feet to dress up with.
On the 12th day of Christmas, SV gave Dave G. a basket full of chocolate, a candle, hand soap, a warm blanket to snuggle up under, and a cute snowman which I'm sure the granddaughters will snuggle with.
